vCenter Support Assistant Diagnostics FAILED – Solution

vCenter Support Assistant is a great free product. But setup can sometimes fail

I got : Connectivity from virtual appliance to vCenter Server FAILED

and : Name Resolution of the vCenter  Server host name on virtual appliance FAILED

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

solution :  use the FQDN when entering the  hostname (-> run the network config tool in the console of the Support Assistant, choose menu item 2 )
