MS SQL server 2008 R2 Service Pack 2 missing from CM12 software updates and WSUS

I tried to deploy sql server 2008 R2 Service Pack 2 with our CM12 software updates. It is missing from our list of software updates.
Other sql service packs are available (even sql server 2008 R2 service pack 1 is available). Also other SQL updates are also avaiable.
Checking configuration with classified products : this was correct.
Checking WCM.log : ok
Checking wsyncmgr.log : no errors, also no entries about sql server 2008 R2 service pack 2.

After some googling , I found this forum where I found the explanation :
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/bd9ecccf-d659-4ea7-b366-7e826e678780/sql-2008-r2-sp2-release-to-wsus?forum=winserverwsus

in the official KB there is a line : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2527041
and it states : “it will not be released to Microsoft Update” (WSUS)

Great to have a software updates infrastructure but sometimes you need to do it manually anyway. Maybe there is a good explanation but it seems they don’t care to explain why…

so, let’s start to do create a package myself and deploy it without software ypdates… As if we all have time enough….
