22nd VMware User Group – Free event in San Marco Village on June 11, 2015

Only 14 days to go until the 22nd edition of the VMware User Group will take place @ San Marco Village near Antwerp on June 11, 2015.
This is a full day filled with 17 presentations, 3 parallel tracks and a lot of international speakers. And above all.. it’s free.
Free does not mean, low quality. It means free, as in ‘youshouldpayalotforthisbutthankstooursponsorsitremainsfree’

What can you expect ? The event will kickoff with a presentation given by Joe Baguley, CTO EMEA VMware. After that keynote, you can choose between 15 different presentations ! We have sessions form our sponsors, we have product sessions, user stories….
A complete day filled with technical content, an exhibition area, and a chance to meet other professionals and exhange ideas and information.

We even managed to get Scott Lowe to Belgium ! Scott Lowe, VCDX 39, is an engineering architect for VMware focusing on network virtualization and software-defined networking (SDN). He is also a VMware vExpert and author of Mastering VMware vSphere 5.

The fans of POWERCLI will be happy to read that our own famous speaker Luc Dekens will present again.His session will show you how you can use Microsoft’s Desired State Configuration (DSC) in combination with PowerCLI to bring DEVOPS to a new level in your vSphere environment.

Don’t like POWERCLI? Don’t worry , we have sessions about VMware Integrated Open Stack and NSX, App Volumes and EUC, combined power of vRealize Orchestrator, vSphere and Docker, Getting Started with Containers: Vagrant, Docker, rkt, and VMware Photon, Hype-Convergence: the datacenter buzzword reality show”, ..
